Ireland End to End: Day 2 adventures
After a gentle beginning, today was a very challenging day as we cycled into Kerry over the Gap of Dunloe in the Macgillycuddy mountain range before arriving in the bustling town of Tralee. In total 59miles,and an elevation of 1400m
Along the way we saw a few unusual sights and signs
No pain without gain is a cycling mantra. Today, we had 4 climbs which were long and challenging. But also some great descents. The 'Gap of Dunloe' was undoubtedly the stand out moment of the day
There were also a few obstacles. It's the first time I have heard someone shout out 'horse and cart'!!
It was a day that we were very thankful for our refreshments at the Brew stops. Thank you Peak Tours. We couldn't do the ride without your support
