Beyond the halfway mark

We've officially crossed the halfway point of our incredible "Ireland End to End" cycling adventure! Day 5 brought us a stunning route around the picturesque Galway peninsula, a truly exhilarating experience that filled us with anticipation for the rest of our journey. The landscapes were breathtaking, and the feeling of accomplishment as we reached this milestone was immense.

Exploring Connemara's heart

Our ride on Day 5 was a delightful tapestry of twists and turns, leading us through many charming villages. We passed through the incredibly pretty village of Roundstone, a true gem on the Connemara coast, before finally arriving in Clifden, proudly known as the 'Capital of Connemara'. Each village offered its unique character and beauty, making the journey as captivating as the destination.

Energised and ready for more

Day 5 presented us with a gently undulating terrain, covering a total of 68 miles with an elevation gain of 670m. Despite the mileage, we felt incredibly energised and refreshed. The challenging yet rewarding ride left us feeling ready and excited for the remainder of our "Ireland End to End" tour. The beauty of the surroundings and the camaraderie of the ride fuelled our spirits for the days ahead.
