Ireland End to End: Day 4 adventures

Join us as we recount the beautiful landscapes and memorable moments from day four of our journey across Ireland. From stunning coastlines to unique geological formations, today's ride was truly unforgettable.

From Spanish Point to vibrant Galway

Today marked a significant leg of our journey as we cycled from Spanish Point, making our way north to the lively and welcoming city of Galway. This stretch covered a good 69 miles, presenting us with a total ascent of 1000m. It was a day filled with breathtaking views and invigorating challenges, truly capturing the essence of the Irish landscape.

Passing the iconic Cliffs of Moher

One of the absolute highlights of Day 4 was undoubtedly passing by the iconic Cliffs of Moher. The sheer scale and beauty of these natural wonders are truly awe-inspiring, a view that photos simply cannot do justice to. It was an incredible moment to cycle past such a famous landmark, feeling the ocean breeze and taking in the dramatic coastal scenery.

Exploring The Burren's unique landscape

Our route also took us through the fascinating area of Karst limestone, known as 'The Burren'. This otherworldly landscape, with its unique geological formations, offered a striking contrast to the lush green fields we'd become accustomed to. Every turn provided another beautiful view of the green and pleasant land of Ireland, constantly reminding us of the diverse beauty this country holds. We hope our stories inspire others to explore this incredible island.
